Meet Our 2010, 61st Anniversary Rodeo Queen,
Kendra Lynn Werner

Rodeo Royalty

Growing up in southern Santa Fe County, Kendra Lynn Werner has always loved the western way of life. Kendra is the 18 year old daughter of John Ty and Terri Werner. She is currently a freshman at New Mexico State University where she is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business and Economics with a minor in Horse Management. Kendra is a graduate of Moriarty High School, where she graduated with honors and was very active in 4-H. But Kendra's true love is training and showing her AQHA horses! As an ambassador for Rodeo de Santa Fe, it has been one of her greatest joys riding at Rodeos, Parades and Grand Entries across our great state. She began this wonderful journey in 2007 when she ran and was crowned the 2008 Rodeo de Santa Fe Princess, the adventure continued when again she was crowned the 2009 Princess. Being the Rodeo de Santa Fe Queen has been a dream come true. Kendra has met so many great and wonderful people along the way. Kendra truly believes in what the great sport of Rodeo brings to all ages in every town. Kendra is proud to represent Santa Fe and the great sport of RODEO! Her personal motto, "Whoop and Spur" sums up her personality; a hard-working cowgirl determined to make a difference in the sport of rodeo. Keep the tradition alive... let's rodeo!
